2010, Approx. 16' x 20' x 27', Trash bag liners

This piece was installed at Bloomberg HQ, in NY in 2010 for Earth Day. My artist collaborator and husband Marshall Coles and I created it with help from a small crew over a weekend. It is made from 5000 plastic trash can liners that were thrown out each day in the building. It was commissioned to illustrate how much of a plastic footprint would be reduced by eliminating individual trash cans in cubicles.
